Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

Q1: Who is eligible to join Reskillion Africa’s training programs?
A: Reskillion Africa welcomes youth aged 18–35 from across the continent, with a focus on underserved and marginalized communities. This includes unemployed youth, recent school leavers, young women, single mothers, refugees, and individuals at risk. No formal education is required—only a strong commitment to learning and personal growth.

Q2: Is there a registration fee for the training?
A: No. All training programs are fully sponsored through philanthropic donations, institutional grants, and partner support. Selected participants receive training at no cost, with access to tools, learning materials, and meals throughout the course duration.

Q3: What is the duration of the training?
A: Each cohort undergoes an intensive 20-day training program (equivalent to four weeks), featuring a hands-on curriculum in practical green and sustainable skills tailored for the modern job market.

Q4: What types of courses are available?
A: Participants can choose from 20 high-impact, skill-based courses such as solar installation, organic agriculture, waste recycling, plumbing, welding, composting, beekeeping, and more. Visit our Courses page for a full list of offerings

Q5: How do I apply for the training program?
A: Applications can be submitted through our official Registration page. Once reviewed, selected candidates will be contacted via phone or email with onboarding details.

Q6: Will I receive a certificate after completing the program?
A: Yes. All participants who successfully complete the training receive a Certificate of Participation, which can enhance employment prospects, facilitate apprenticeship placement, or serve as a credential for entrepreneurship and funding opportunities.
